Date: December 7, 2025
Location: 54 Rue Aristide Briand, 87100 Limoges

Event Description

The Intercultural Family Day is a free, full-day event designed to bring families and community members together to celebrate cultural diversity through play, learning, and shared experiences. This event is suitable for all ages and encourages participants to explore, interact, and connect with people from different backgrounds.

The day begins at 10:00 AM with a welcome ceremony. Attendees are introduced to the schedule and provided with materials to guide them through the activities. Staff and volunteers are available to assist families, explain games, and ensure accessibility for participants of all ages.

From 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, families can participate in interactive game sessions designed for multi-generational engagement. Games are carefully selected to foster collaboration, problem-solving, and social interaction. Facilitators provide guidance, ensuring that children, teenagers, and adults can all participate equally. These sessions encourage families to work together while also interacting with other attendees, creating connections across households and cultures.

A lunch break is scheduled from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM. Participants are encouraged to bring meals or enjoy refreshments provided on-site. This break also provides informal opportunities for networking and cultural exchange, allowing families to share experiences and stories.

From 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM, the program continues with cultural exploration workshops. These workshops incorporate games, storytelling, and creative challenges that reflect European traditions. Families rotate through stations, learning about different cultures while engaging in hands-on activities. Each station emphasizes teamwork, creativity, and mutual respect, providing an immersive educational experience.

The afternoon session, from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM, features family challenges and team games. Groups are mixed to encourage interaction between participants from different backgrounds. Challenges focus on problem-solving, cooperation, and strategic thinking. Success is celebrated collectively, reinforcing the value of collaboration and intercultural friendship.

The day concludes with a reflection and celebration circle from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Participants share their favorite moments, lessons learned, and personal experiences. This closing session reinforces the day’s objectives: fostering understanding, strengthening community bonds, and celebrating the joy of shared play.

Intercultural Family Day is a unique opportunity for families to engage in meaningful cultural exchange, learn through play, and build lasting connections. The event exemplifies Orman Kusesi’s mission to create inclusive, educational, and enjoyable experiences that unite communities through shared activities.
